Finance Assistant – Grimsby – Minimum 6-9 Month Contract – Up to £30,000
Chase & Holland are working exclusively with a well-established, market leading innovator and manufacturer, who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to bolster their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for UK purchase ledger function, auditing of raw materials consumption, Sales General and Administration.

Process all transactions associated with the purchase ledger function including reconciliation
Manage the accounting and detailed reporting of all factory cost centres, liaising with managers at two sites as and when required
Manage supplier payments in accordance with invoices
Ensure supply whilst also always optimising cashflow for the UK business
Liaise with UK and overseas suppliers and managers as appropriate to ensure any problems are resolved
Audits and verifies the monthly raw material consumptions
Performs monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Support the Financial Accountant
Process personnel expense claims
Prepares ad-hoc financial, operational and commercial exercises/information/reports
Required Skills & Experience:
Highly numerate and IT literate including SAP and MS Excel
Ability to meet reporting deadlines and prioritise
Understanding of relevant accounting standards
Good communicator both verbal and written
Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
Able to identify, develop and adopt new practices
High professional standards regarding accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
