Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our small, dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various CNC and manual machinery and tools. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring production efficiency, and adhering to safety protocols. This role is essential in contributing to our manufacturing processes and delivering high-quality products. Responsibilities Operate and monitor HAAS, Citizen and Doosan machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output. Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting issues. Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets while maintaining safety standards. Use hand tools effectively for assembly and repair tasks as required. Conduct basic maths calculations to measure dimensions and quantities accurately. Assist in tooling changes and setups for different production runs. Maintain a clean work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Skills Proficient in materials handling techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in operating Mills and Turning Centres Familiarity with Fanuc and HAAS software. Competent in using hand tools for assembly, maintenance, or repairs. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Knowledge of tooling processes related to machine operation is advantageous. Previous experience in a Machine shop setting is essential. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
