This is a full-time Sales Account Manager position based in Houghton Regis. The role is primarily office based, with occasional travel to meet customers and the option of a hybrid approach where needed.
As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing and developing key accounts, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include building strong account relationships, developing strategic account plans, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need:
* Strong understanding of rate structures, corporate contracts, market segmentation, and service level agreements (SLAs).
* Experience managing complex sales cycles, forecasting revenue, and implementing strategies for customer retention.
* Proficiency in CRM tools such as Dynamics, Opera, and Power BI for account management and performance reporting.
* Ability to clearly articulate business impact and ROI, aligning solutions with customer objectives.
* Proven track record of driving revenue, expanding accounts, and increasing market share.
* Demonstrated success in managing corporate accounts and negotiating long-term agreements.
* Skilled in delivering Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and presenting performance insights to stakeholders.
* Experience in developing compelling value propositions and scalable account growth plans.
What you'll do:
* Develop and execute B2B sales strategies for each corporate client, including discounts, rebates, and other incentives, while tracking progress.
* Build and implement strategic account plans to drive market share expansion and revenue growth.
* Analyse market trends and client feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
* Identify and pursue growth opportunities, negotiating compelling commercial terms and incentives to maximise profitability.
* Foster strong relationships with B2B clients, conducting quarterly face-to-face account reviews.
* Directly manage and grow revenue from large corporations through effective account management.
* Develop and implement strategies to reduce customer churn, including targeted offers.
* Proactively initiate contract renewals well before end dates.
* Monitor customer spending trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Forecast, track, and report on account status, sales metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Educate clients on their usage patterns and areas for improvement to maximise the value of their travel programmes.
* Conduct competitor research to stay informed and ahead of market trends.
