A growing company specialising in the delivery of end-to-end turnkey solutions across the process industries. Following the recent award of a high-profile project, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take the lead and drive it through to successful completion.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multi-million-pound industrial pipework installation project across multiple factory sites, with a specific focus on purified water systems. This role covers locations along the M4 corridor and offers the opportunity to take full ownership of large-scale mechanical projects in pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage full project lifecycle for industrial pipework and purified water system installations
2. Review and manage construction contracts, oversee mechanical design coordination
3. Develop project programmes, allocate labour, and manage workforce productivity
4. Procure materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with purified water standards
5. Conduct site surveys, manage site setup, and ensure H&S compliance (RAMS, COSHH)
6. Lead client meetings, monitor progress, control budgets, and manage variations
7. Supervise Contract Managers and deliver validation/compliance documentation
Required Skills & Experience
8. Proven experience managing industrial/mechanical engineering projects
9. Demonstrable experience with purified water systems (design, installation, validation)
10. Strong understanding of pipework systems and factory installations
11. Knowledge of industry standards (USP, EP, cGMP) for purified water applications
12. Skilled in contract management, project programming, and cost control
13. Excellent leadership and communication skills
14. In-depth H&S knowledge and ability to work across multiple M4 corridor sites
