About Our Nursery
Busy Bees Day Nursery and preschool Bishops Stortford St Michaels Mead hold an Ofsted rating of Good. Our purpose‑built nursery has spacious rooms, large gardens, free onsite parking, and free breakfast and lunch daily. What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader
* Ensure educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
* Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse needs.
* Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative, high‑performing team.
* Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making adaptations for additional needs.
* Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s development.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.
Ideal Candidate
* Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
* Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager, or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
