Strategic Delivery Leader | Multi-Project Manager | Business-Technical Translator
About the Role
We’re looking for a senior leader who can own the successful delivery of multiple high-impact AI projects—not just managing timelines, but shaping real business outcomes. You’ll work across 3–4 complex client engagements at once, balancing delivery oversight, stakeholder alignment, and value creation.
In this role, you’ll serve as the vital link between AI engineering teams and executive stakeholders. You’ll make sure clients see measurable progress—not just technical updates—while ensuring internal teams stay focused, aligned, and empowered.
This isn’t a behind-the-scenes role. You’ll lead from the front—drafting statements of work, facilitating key workshops, resolving tensions, and ensuring delivery teams bring forward solutions that actually matter to the client.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Delivery Oversight Across Multiple Projects
* Lead 3–4 concurrent client initiatives, each at varying stages of intensity and complexity.
* Act as the day-to-day leader for delivery team members across multiple accounts.
* Own the preparation of SOWs, ensuring alignment with client priorities and internal strategy.
* Track team performance, anticipate issues early, and adjust resources proactively to maintain delivery momentum.
Client Impact & Value Creation
* Focus on creating real, tangible progress for clients—not abstract technical activity.
* Translate engineering milestones into compelling business narratives that reinforce strategic value.
* Partner with client stakeholders to ensure outcomes align with their broader transformation goals.
* Support strategic account leads in identifying opportunities for deepened client engagement.
Business-Technical Communication
* Serve as the trusted bridge between engineering teams (AI/ML, data, DevOps) and non-technical stakeholders.
* Frame technical progress and limitations in accessible, value-oriented language.
* Support tech leads by surfacing risks and clarifying feasibility—without micromanaging solutions.
* Provide critical input to challenge assumptions constructively, both internally and with clients.
Product & Delivery Leadership
* Act as product owner for key client deliverables, clarifying priorities and managing scope.
* Align internal teams across disciplines—engineering, design, operations—to deliver unified solutions.
* Ensure deliverables meet client strategic goals without compromising technical integrity.
* Identify patterns, reusable components, and success stories to improve future delivery capability.
What You Bring
Strong Technical Foundation
* You’ve written code yourself and understand the realities of building software in real-world settings.
* Able to engage deeply with engineers and architects while translating complexity for business leaders.
* Familiar with agile delivery, modern SDLC practices, and product-oriented development.
Proven Multi-Project Leadership
* Track record of managing multiple enterprise-scale technology projects in parallel.
* Skilled in balancing competing demands across clients, timelines, and internal teams.
* Experience delivering under pressure—on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
Exceptional Communication & Influence
* Adept at translating technical progress into stories that resonate with executives.
* Confident leading meetings and presentations with senior business and technical stakeholders.
* Clear and persuasive communicator in both written and verbal formats.
Enterprise Stakeholder Management
* Comfortable operating across large, matrixed organisations with complex stakeholder landscapes.
* Skilled in designing and facilitating workshops that move discussions toward clear decisions.
* Strategic awareness of when to build goodwill and when to assert delivery priorities.
(Preferred) Regulated Industry Experience
* Familiar with compliance-heavy environments (e.g. pharma, finance, healthcare, insurance).
* Able to navigate documentation, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
* Demonstrated success delivering in contexts with strong governance or quality control needs.
