Senior Financial Accountant Our high growth client in the energy/tech space are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team in Central London. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research and draft technical accounting memos to support appropriate treatment for new and existing transactions, as required by auditors or external stakeholders. Drive an efficient audit process and assist in preparing statutory financial statements. Support the completion and review of the month-end reporting pack, focusing on technical aspects such as consolidation adjustments, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting controls. Identify and implement process improvements within existing and emerging finance areas as the business continues to grow. Ensure timely and accurate submission of annual tax computations. Prepare monthly tax accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations, including reviewing analysis and disallowable expenses. Compile and review tax-related information for investment activities. Collaborate on ad-hoc projects across the wider business in line with our growth strategy. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with around 4-5 years post qualified experience. Strong technical exposure to UK reporting standards including IFRS and UK GAAP will be highly necessary, as well as industry exposure in a similar accounting based role.
