EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Hackney, LondonSalary: £1,900 - £2,400 per monthStart Date: Immediate / SeptemberContract: Full-time
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hackney is seeking a qualified EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children within a nurturing Nursery or Reception setting, helping pupils develop key early learning, communication, and social skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
The school has a strong Early Years provision, supportive leadership team, and a collaborative staff culture focused on helping every child thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning within EYFS
* Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
* Support phonics, early reading, and numeracy development
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development
* Assist with classroom activities and daily routines
* Work closely with the EYFS team and parents where required
Requirements
Essential:
* Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification or equivalent
* Experience working within an EYFS setting
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework
* GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Desirable:
* Experience within a primary school setting
* Knowledge of phonics and early interventions
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
