Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating CAD drawings as requested by the client, managing the asset database, and producing project lists based on the latest asset information. The role requires travel to client sites across the UK as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
•Update and maintain CAD drawings in line with client requests and project developments.
•Ensure all drawings are compliant with VMO2 standards and naming conventions.
•Liaise with project managers and engineers to capture changes and reflect them accurately in the drawings.
•Keep the asset register fully updated with accurate and timely information.
•Track additions, removals, and changes to assets across all VMO2 sites.
•Ensure alignment between physical assets and digital records.
•Maintain a well-structured and accessible database of drawings and asset information.
•Implement version control and archiving protocols to ensure data integrity.
•Generate and maintain project lists based on asset register updates.
•Collaborate with the wider project team to ensure project tracking reflects current asset status.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
•Degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, CAD Design, or related field.
•Relevant certifications in CAD or asset management (desirable).
•Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
•Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
•Experience managing asset registers and technical databases.
•Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•Familiarity with telecoms or infrastructure environments (preferred).
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•Willingness to travel as required.
