Assist and support vulnerable people with personal and social care, encouraging independence and enabling them to remain in their own homes within their communities. Contribute to the promotion, delivery, and integration of the key objectives outlined in the Health & Social Care Partnership Plan and the Community Plan.
Requirements
The duties of this role involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council.
Please note: PVG records are continuously updated with new vetting information. Any relevant information disclosed on a PVG Scheme Record or Record Update will be discussed with the applicant prior to any formal employment offer.

This is a part-time, permanent position within Adult Support Services.
The work schedule covers 7 days and will be discussed with the line manager.
