Job Description
* Manage and monitor outstanding client accounts to ensure timely collections.
* Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues and secure payments.
* Accurately update and maintain financial records and client accounts.
* Generate and distribute collection reports for internal review.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account discrepancies.
* Assist in the development and implementation of improved collection strategies.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive client relationships.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Clerk (Collections) should have:
* Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
