Our client is a successful e-commerce aftermarket automotive parts supply company, looking to recruit an experienced Parts Sales Advisor.
The company has been very successful overseas and is now entering the UK market. They have secured premises in Reading and are seeking a dedicated team member to enhance their sales performance, reporting to the UK Operations Manager.
As a specialist aftermarket supply company, they operate an e-commerce platform selling to both retail and trade customers across the UK and internationally.
This role is primarily office-based, focusing on acquiring new business (retail and trade) via telephone, email campaigns, social media, and CRM database management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and develop customer database
2. Create additional sales opportunities for repeat or new business
3. Contribute to customer retention through effective representation
4. Develop full knowledge of all products, pricing, and competitors
5. Produce reports on sales activities, follow-ups, prospecting, and sales presentations
6. Ensure accurate and timely completion of reports and paperwork
7. Assist in developing strategies to increase business growth
About you:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role (Trade Parts Advisor / Parts Wholesale / Aftermarket Rep)
* Motor trade experience is essential
* Valid Driving Licence
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Proficient in PC use
* Motivated to drive sales and be part of a growing team
Salary: Basic salary £25,000 – £27,000, OTE up to £30,000 – £32,000
