Reporting to: Head Receptionist

Location: Great Portland Street

About the job...

As member of the central team and first point of contact for all staff and visitors entering the office, the Receptionist & Operational Assistant provides a friendly and professional service. This role is responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the office, including many key reception duties such as booking/preparing meeting rooms and welcoming clients, as well as general operational duties such as overseeing coffee machine servicing and maintenance, post room duties etc.

Duties & Key Responsibilities...

* General reception duties and operational support
* Ensure meeting rooms are kept tidy throughout the day, prep ahead of all external/client meetings and provide necessary refreshments
* Meet and greet external guests and clients, offering refreshments
* Answer and filter internal/external calls in a polite and professional manner
* Monitor both the Reception and Enquiries mailboxes at all times – action and forward where required
* Assist colleagues with securing/adjusting meeting room bookings
* Handle suppliers and post deliveries, and distribute to the relevant members of staff
* Keep the post room tidy and organised at all times
* Monitor stock levels, ordering, and maintaining supplies for stationery, groceries, coffee machines etc.
* Assist with tech in meeting rooms where necessary and in the absence of IT
* Ad hoc support to office colleagues and UK Operations Manager
