Position: Events Staff
Work Location: Stirling and nearby areas
Wage: £12.50 per hour
Employment Type: Self Employed
Working Hours: Primarily Weekends, with additional hours during the week as required by event demands.
Job Summary:
To ensure that all our customers are welcomed warmly to our roller discos as well as roller sports events and that they experience the highest standards of customer care and enjoyment in an exciting, interactive and safe environment.
Full training will be provided for successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
* To play an active role in supporting excellence in the delivery of Rollerbeats Customer Experience Standards
* Proactively engage and assist customers to allow them to maximize the enjoyment of their day at our events in and engaging, friendly and proactive manner
* Deal proactively with any issues that may arise during the course of you duties – escalating any issues to management where appropriate
* Ensure safety of all staff and customers in accordance with Rollerbeats policies and procedures
* To work alongside others and adopt a flexible approach to working in a team environment (this is a fast paced working environment)
* Ensure that all daily reporting and administrative requirements are completed to a satisfactory standard and in a timely manner
* To gain a working understanding of the Rollerbeats Bookings and referral process
* Attend briefings and take personal responsibility for keeping abreast of latest internal communications
* Perform lifting and handling duties for the Rollerbeats Equipment Set Up before and after events
* Operate Events Set-Up/Admissions/information desks and/or perform DJ duties (training will be provided)
* Perform designated tasks as per daily operational requirements and as directed by a team leader or line manager
* Having full knowledge of our offering and have the ability at making visitors aware of the full range of experiences, products and services available to them
* Report/Ensure cleanliness and good maintenance of immediate working area and Rollerbeats equipment
* Deliver and maintaining the highest operational standards in line with agreed operational procedures, policies and performance
* Be an ambassador for the Rollerbeats proposition
Skills/Knowledge Required:
* Excellent, communication, interpersonal and reasoning skills are essential
* Ability to speak to the public both on a 1:1 basis and in groups
* Previous work experience in a customer facing environments advantageous
* Ability to skate or learn to skate is advantageous but not essential
* Outgoing personality and willingness to interact
* Ability to adapt to new situations in a fast paced environment
* Ability to drive is advantageous but not essential
* Excellent timekeeping
* First Aid certification is desirable – or willingness to get
