As a Finance Assistant you will play a key role in supporting all areas of the financial function to deliver timely & accurate results on a monthly basis. to deliver timely cash collection and support different functions within the team. The role will cover credit control on allocated customers, Purchase Ledger processing, sales billing and assist with other Finance tasks as required.
This role requires attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, good interpersonal and communication skills to resolve matters effectively with both customers and suppliers.
Requirements
* Good working knowledge of financial processes.
* Be a self-starter who can work independently, prioritise tasks, and demonstrate control over your workload.
* Show good attention to detail, make suggestions to improve processes and support change.
* Equally adept at communicating via phone or email, choosing the best method based on the issue.
* Understand the importance of supporting colleagues to consistently deliver the best service. Good attitude and willingness to help.
* Good working knowledge of Finance systems, generic Microsoft applications, primarily Outlook and Word with particular focus on Excel for summarising and analysing data.
