Group Sales & Operations Supervisor job in London within the inbound luxury travel and DMC sector, offering a competitive salary. This is a team leadership and operational oversight role responsible for supervising day-to-day sales performance and programme delivery across group travel, corporate and incentive travel, covering client relationship management, team support, SOP development, escalation handling and operational coordination across UK, Ireland and France programmes.

We are proud to be working with a highly regarded luxury travel company specialising in bespoke inbound travel across the UK and Ireland. Our client partners closely with international travel advisors and tour operators to create tailored, high-end travel experiences, combining exceptional service with carefully curated itineraries for discerning travellers.

They are now seeking a Group Sales & Operations Supervisor to join their growing team. The focus of this division is on group travel programmes, corporate and incentive travel, and travel experiences and logistics — providing itineraries covering hotels and ground services across the UK, Ireland and France.

This role will suit someone who is organised, people-focused and comfortable balancing team leadership with hands-on operational delivery.





▌ The Role


In this role, you will oversee daily sales performance and operational activity across the group travel division, acting as the key link between management and the frontline team. You will lead, support and coordinate effectively to ensure consistently high standards of client service and programme delivery.

– Oversee the daily allocation of work, ensuring all client deadlines and service standards are consistently met

– Act as the primary point of contact for the team, providing proactive support and guidance

– Promote best practices and ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures

– Work closely with the Line Manager to provide updates on team performance, training needs and development progress

– Develop, implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to improve efficiency and service quality

– Support the team in sourcing suitable alternatives when requested services are unavailable

– Handle and resolve escalated client complaints and staff challenges, implementing corrective measures while maintaining service standards and team morale

– Coordinate emergency phone cover schedules and bank holiday rotas in the absence of the Manager

– Handle initial client enquiries promptly, ensuring same-day acknowledgement and regular updates

– Build and maintain strong client relationships, resolving issues and communicating new product updates effectively





▌ Experience Required

– Previous experience within group travel, incentives or a DMC/tour operator environment

– Experience in a senior or supervisory role, with responsibility for overseeing workloads and supporting or guiding a team

– Strong understanding of group travel logistics, including accommodation, transport and ground services across multiple destinations

– Experience managing enquiries through to conversion, with a good awareness of commercial performance and revenue opportunities

– Confident handling escalations, problem-solving and making decisions in a fast-paced environment

– Strong supplier knowledge, with the ability to source alternatives and manage availability challenges

– Excellent organisation and attention to detail across the full booking lifecycle

– Experience using reservation systems such as Tourplan (or similar) and maintaining booking accuracy

– Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams

– A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to balance team support with operational delivery
