Duties and responsibilities Our client are on the look out for an ambitious and enthusiastic Accounts Senior or Supervisor to join their growing business services department. You will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to; Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as the main point of contact. Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Preparing self-assessment tax returns and acquiring an understanding of the principals of personal tax rules and PAYE. Preparing VAT returns. Preparing corporation tax computations. Ad-hoc bookkeeping tasks. Assisting with the completion of PAYE forms, P11Ds and P35s. Reviewing work of trainees and managing staff. Participating in project work. You will be reporting to the Business Manager and Partner. Qualifications and skills required In order to succeed as an Accounts Senior or Supervisor you will be ACA or ACCA qualified or a finalist. You will have experience managing a portfolio of clients and training junior staff. You will have at least three years experience of working in a practice firm and have exposure to tax work.
