Overview
As a Program Architect, you will work with project teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment to improve and deploy a prototype building program and build an alternative to the traditional construction industry. This role spans from desk to factory floor to job sites and client meetings, contributing to project delivery via the DMC methodology.
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year.
Responsibilities
* Management of an entire project or series of projects, including safety, quality, budget, and schedule.
* Management of project launch and planning in collaboration with teams across the organization.
* Management of multiple projects with different team structures, including self-perform, trade partners, and general contractor partners.
* Management of client relations, correspondence, periodic reports, change orders and responses to client inquiries.
* Development of assistant project management personnel through mentoring and on-the-job training.
* Ensure project is closed out promptly and efficiently.
* Daily communication and coordination with Design, Manufacturing, and Construction teams.
* Coordination with internal departments including shipping, logistics, and self-perform.
* Project financials and change management.
* Communication and coordination with client project management.
* Collaborate with jobsite team for planning site logistics for permanent installations and module delivery and setting.
* Collaborate with jobsite team for efficient management of site facilities and general conditions cost.
* Document and communicate lessons learned into continuous improvement processes.
* Manage relationships with customers, internal team, subcontractors, and local authorities.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams; ability to learn new technologies quickly.
* Ability to generate, maintain, and iterate project schedules.
* Team oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and construction documents and communicate missing information or discrepancies.
* General knowledge of construction means and methods across all trades.
* Ability to identify and implement process improvements for current and future projects.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or equivalent in construction management.
