HARP (Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme) is UU's largest capital project, involving the replacement of 6 tunnel sections along the aqueduct, securing water supplies for millions in the North West.

The role
Are you an engineer or project engineer passionate about making a positive environmental and societal impact through large-scale projects? We seek a visionary Senior Project Engineer to help deliver the HARP project, overseeing design development, technical queries, assurance, and leadership during outages and connections. The role requires driving technical excellence and ensuring seamless engineering integration.

Key accountabilities
* Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders for successful engineering outcomes
* Lead project reviews and enhance engineering practices
* Develop and execute project engineering plans aligned with standards
* Represent engineering interests, manage risks, and drive performance
Skills & experience
Essential criteria include:
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience
* Experience providing senior technical advice and leading multidisciplinary projects and teams
* Valid UK/EU driving license
