Primech Building Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for and implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects across commercial, and industrial sectors. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that all electrical projects are safe, efficient, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives
* Perform site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and compliance
* Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering and recommend improvements
Requirements
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and design principles
* ECS Gold card holder is a must
* Testing experience (2391 preferred but not essential)
* Troubleshooting & fault finding experience
* Experience of maintaining electrical equipment (routine maintenance)
* A good understanding of 3 Phase and Single Phase pumps and motors
* A good understanding of commercial and domestic heating control wiring
* BMS experience (preferred but not essential)
* Experience in the Installation of containment systems (tray, basket, ladder and metal conduit)
* Extensive knowledge of the BS 7671 wiring regulations
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams
* Full UK driver's license as site visits may be required
