Class 2 Driver – Days (Permanent)

Rate: £15.90 per hour (PAYE) + Holiday Accrual
SWIFT Temps Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our valued client in Wetherby for a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of drinks products to commercial customers. Working alongside a Driver’s Mate, you will ensure each order is delivered safely, efficiently, and with a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and safety inspections
* Secure and check orders before departure
* Communicate route details and order information with your Driver’s Mate
* Deliver to customer premises, unloading stock as required
* Collect empty kegs, pallets, and returns
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
* Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic POD tasks
* Liaise with the Transport Management team regarding delays or vehicle issues
* Comply with all Tachograph and driving legislation
About You
* Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience, including at least 2 years as a Class 2 driver
* Hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence and CPC qualification
* Strong geographical knowledge of the local area
* Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred
* Committed to excellent customer service and professional conduct
* Willing to undergo DVLA licence checks
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday (some weekend work required during peak periods such as Christmas and major events)
* Typical hours: 5:00am – 2:00pm (early finish possible when deliveries are completed)
Pay & Benefits
* £15.90 per hour (PAYE)
* Holiday pay accrued separately
