The Role: Joining our small and supportive Resourcing Team as an Administrator, you’ll play a key role in helping the Adults’ Health and Care and Children’s Services Directorates find, attract, recruit and retain fantastic people who embody our values. Providing a range of administrative support, you’ll have daily contact with candidates, arranging interviews and responding to general enquiries. You’ll enjoy working in a collaborative way with other members of the team, responding flexibly to changing priorities and demands. What you’ll do: • Monitor our shared inbox, responding to routine enquiries and assigning emails appropriately to ensure timely resolution. • Coordinate interview scheduling, send invitations and follow up with candidates to maximise attendance. • Maintain accurate and up to date records across recruitment systems and digital tools, ensuring data quality and GDPR compliance. • Liaise effectively with managers, candidates and colleagues, providing a professional level of customer service. • Support team administration as required, proactively escalating process gaps and keeping up to date with changes and improvements. What we’re looking for: • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and delivering work right first time. • Experience working in an administrative and customer focused role, supporting and communicating with a wide range of people. An understanding of recruitment practices would be ideal, but isn't essential. • Good organisational skills, able to manage priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records in a fast paced environment. • Confident communicator with good verbal and written skills, able to respond professionally to queries and escalate when appropriate. Comfortable phoning candidates to maximise attendance at interview. • Experience of using Microsoft Office and IT systems, with the agility to adapt to changing priorities and processes. • A flexible team player who works well under supervision and consistently demonstrates the organisation’s values and behaviours.
