About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Senior Management Team, the HSE Manager will lead the development and implementation of a first-class Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture across the organisation.
This is a hands-on, standalone role suited to an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is confident influencing at all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Health & Safety strategy and operational agenda across all departments.
2. Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and internal policies.
3. Lead regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring all findings are acted upon promptly.
4. Maintain systems for recording, reporting, and investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses.
5. Conduct and review COSHH assessments and manage the safe handling of hazardous substances.
