The Ideal candidate must have the following exposure:
1. Manage and grow a portfolio of large commercial clients with complex banking needs
2. Drive customer service delivery in line with predefined standards and in support of operational efficiencies and objectives.
3. Ensure growth in customer base by ensuring that the team manages existing clients, generates new leads and grows active customer account base.
4. Develop and manage internal and external key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectives.
5. Set tactical goals and optimize the use of the people, finances and technology in order to realize those goals.
6. Define a sales strategy and delivery plans in support of the strategic business objectives
7. Compose and present credit applications in accordance with the Banks Credit Policy and within set time frames for final assessment to the banks Credit department
8. Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes.
9. Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions.
10. Continuously assess portfolio and own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.
11. Manage people by executing line manager responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence.
You will be an ideal candidate if you have:
12. Obtained 3-5 years Commercial Banking experience in a similar role
13. Appropriate Degree or post grad qualification
14. Exposure to the preparation and/or assessment of complex Credit Applications in a commercial environment
15. RE qualification
16. Experience in dealing with complex client structures and customer queries
17. The ability to build strong interpersonal relationships to maintain and grow a profitable client base
18. The ability to drive your own performance, continuously seek to grow and learn and strive towards excellence in everything you do
19. Are not an unrehabilitated insolvent
