Milk Education is working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Liverpool to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Maths Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making Maths engaging, accessible, and achievable for all students across KS3 and KS4.
The Role
We are seeking a committed Maths Teacher who can deliver high‑quality lessons and support pupils in developing strong numeracy skills and mathematical confidence.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning and teaching curriculum‑aligned Maths lessons across KS3–KS4
2. Using clear explanations, modelling, and differentiation to meet a range of learning needs
3. Creating an engaging, positive classroom environment
4. Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
5. Supporting learners in preparation for assessments and examinations
6. Collaborating with colleagues to develop resources and share best practice

The Ideal Candidate
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
8. Strong subject knowledge in Maths
9. Ability to deliver well‑structured, engaging lessons that inspire confidence
10. Effective behaviour management skills
11. A commitment to raising achievement and building positive relationships
12. ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
