The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. A level 3 Imi or Nvq or similar uk certification and 2 years main dealer workshop experience. A mot licence would be advantageousUnfortunately there is no possibility of work sponsors for this roleDutiesConduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issuesPerform repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical componentsUse hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacementsTest vehicles post-repair to ensure all issues have been resolved and safety standards metMaintain detailed records of work carried out on each vehicleAdhere to health and safety regulations at all times during work proceduresAssist with ordering parts and managing workshop inventory as neededRequirementsProven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or servicingProficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficientlyStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentRelevant qualifications or certifications in automotive light vehicle repairA valid UK driving licence is mandatory and own toolsThis position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within the automotive industry.
