Are you interested in developing a career within Supply Chain? Then why not explore the opportunity of an apprenticeship with Corin! We are looking for someone to work alongside our current Supply Chain team to gain comprehensive hands-on experience of how a global supply chain function operates. On successful completion, you will obtain a Supply Chain NVQ qualification.
Key responsibilities of the Supply Chain Apprentice
* Work across the supply chain with external supply chain partners (buyers/planners), warehouse and logistics teams, and customer services.
* Place and raise purchase orders, monitor open orders to ensure on-time delivery, and handle general admin within Supply Chain.
* Learn to use the Sage system and other related supply chain software.
* Support the updating of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Device History Record (DHR) data.
* Review and collect data on cost versus performance for transport and logistics suppliers.
* Participate in projects related to Packaging Optimization and usage, as well as US warehouse layout and structure changes.
The ideal Supply Chain Apprentice
* Achieve Grade C or 4 or above in Maths and English GCSEs.
* Be reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
* Be a team player and willing to work independently.
* Be keen to learn and ask questions.
