About The Role
The role will have Second Line responsibility for pre‑empting, investigating, and resolving incidents. The role will be onsite five days a week in Middlesex.
Pre‑employment checks include identity, nationality or immigration status, employment history going back three continuous years, and an unspent criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your Role
 * First point of contact for customers, delivering the highest level of customer service and engagement.
 * Liaising continuously with customers to ensure smooth communication and efficient service while resolving customer queries onsite. Providing advice and guidance through user best practices, identifying and mitigating repeatable cases and creating knowledge base articles (KBAs).
 * Responsibility for resolving incidents and service requests to SLA using tools such as ServiceNow and Intune.
 * Accurate IT hardware management using a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Active Directory (AD).

Your Skills and Experience
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and technical teams at all levels.
 * Ability to work within a busy environment and can work calmly under pressure.
 * Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with an ability to think outside the box.
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS (10 and 11) and Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
 * Understanding of IT hardware – predominantly desktops and laptops, but also other mobile technologies, printers, peripherals, and network fundamentals.
 * Interest in automation scripting technologies – would be advantageous.
Your Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo BPSS checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last three years, further checks may be required. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as country of residence and nationality.
