Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

We are now looking for a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Support Worker to join our growing team.
Role Overview
As a Qualified Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day care, support, and development of the children in our home. You will help build strong, positive relationships, promote independence, and provide emotional and behavioural support to help each young person reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and support to children aged 8–17 with complex emotional and behavioural needs
* Support children with daily routines including meals, education, activities, and personal care
* Build trusting, therapeutic relationships with children and young people
* Implement individual care plans and work closely with social workers, therapists, and education providers
* Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements
* Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment, always safeguarding the welfare of the children
* Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing development
Requirements
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Essential
* Minimum 1 year of experience working in a children's residential setting
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and child development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
* Full UK driving licence
