Role Description
As an R&D Corporate Tax Director reporting to the Head of Corporate Tax, you will have expertise in UK R&D tax relief and broader business tax matters. Your role involves ensuring client compliance and identifying tax planning opportunities across various sectors, including OMBs, entrepreneurial firms, large corporates, multinationals, FSA-regulated companies, and AIM-listed PLCs.
The position is primarily office-based with occasional client visits and travel between London, West Sussex, and Kent offices.
Role Requirements
Advising on the UK’s R&D tax relief regime
Degree-level education
Over 5 years of experience with UK R&D Tax Relief, CIOT qualification with 3+ years post-qualification
Experience advising diverse clients, including owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed firms, large corporates, and multinationals
Strong client relationship skills
Team player, confident networker, capable of coaching and business development
