What youll be getting up to You'll lead end-to-end procurement processes for digital services and IT infrastructure, from tendering and evaluation to contract award and supplier performance management.
You'll act as a key interface with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Service Leads to ensure compliance with public sector regulations and internal governance.
You'll oversee the strategic management of council IT assets, ensuring efficient, compliant, and digitally enabled procurement activities.
You'll monitor the status of all digital contracts and assets, maintaining accurate inventories and asset tracking using digital tools.
Who were looking for You'll have excellent organisational skills.
You'll have proven experience in IT Contract Management including software?licensing.
You'll have experience of the digital and IT market and its supply chains, and working with external third-party suppliers.
You'll have strong knowledge of general IT systems including Microsoft Office, database management, and finance systems.
You'll have strong analytical skills to assess market options and contracts, with financial acumen to support budgeting and cost control.
Otherrequirements This role requires some travel around our boroughs. You should have a valid driving licence or the equivalent mobility.
Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check (applied and paid for by the Council).
