Overview
I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial Catering Engineer to join a leading specialist in the commercial catering industry, based in and around Birmingham, Nottingham, or Gloucester and surrounding areas. My Nationwide client is experiencing a period of growth and is now recruiting for their next Catering Engineer to join their friendly team of Field Service Catering Engineers.
The successful Catering Engineer will visit customer sites, carry out annual inspections for gas pipework, installations and appliances in commercial kitchens, confirming their safety and compliance with regulations to provide CP42 Certifications. You will also assist with reactive and planned maintenance and installations on a range of equipment. This role offers an attractive basic salary, the option to work overtime, a company van and a yearly performance-based bonus. Please note, due to client’s requirements, you may be asked to work early mornings whilst their businesses are closed.
NOTE: Our client encourages applications from ex-military candidates who have served in the Royal Navy, British Army, or Royal Air Force and have experience working as a Commercial Catering Engineer.
Responsibilities

* Assist with reactive and planned maintenance and installations on a range of catering equipment.
Requirements
* Must be an experienced commercial catering engineer.
* COMCAT (phone number removed) Domestic, Commercial, and Catering qualifications are essential.
* Ideally hold F- Gas & LPG.
* Previous experience with electrical/refrigeration/air conditioning systems and catering equipment installations would be advantageous.
* Hold a full UK driving license.
* Flexibility with UK Travel.

* Salary - £40,000 to £42,000 depending on experience.
