As we gear up for our next phase of growth, we’re looking for a confident and creative PR Manager to help build our brand presence through smart, strategic, and results-driven PR. You’ll be joining a collaborative marketing team that includes SEO specialists, copywriters, and designers, so you’ll have the tools and support to create campaigns that truly make an impact.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to shape how the outside world sees thinkmoney. You’ll be responsible for delivering a PR and digital outreach strategy that raises awareness, supports our SEO goals, and helps more people discover what we do.
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about storytelling, loves spotting a news hook, and knows how to get coverage that counts. You’ll work closely with the wider marketing team to align PR activity with content, campaigns, and digital strategy.
Key responsibilities
* Support the delivery of a PR and digital outreach strategy that builds brand visibility and authority
* Secure high-quality media coverage across national, regional, and consumer outlets, as well as trade press
* Deliver digital PR campaigns that generate backlinks and support SEO performance
* Identify newsjacking opportunities and emerging trends to keep thinkmoney in the conversation
* Write compelling press releases, media pitches, and comment pieces
* Build and manage relationships with journalists and media contacts
* Collaborate with SEO, content, and design teams to bring ideas to life
* Monitor media coverage and track campaign results
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in B2C PR or journalism - ideally in financial services, fintech, or consumer tech
* Strong digital PR skills with a clear understanding of SEO and link-building
* A confident communicator and natural storyteller with strong writing skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional marketing team
* Creative thinker with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Based within commuting distance of our Salford Quays office (hybrid working pattern)
