We are seeking an experienced Lead Azure Consultant with strong cloud architecture expertise to design, lead, and deliver enterprise‑scale Microsoft Azure solutions. The role requires deep hands‑on experience in Azure architecture, governance, security, and migration strategies, along with the ability to lead technical teams and engage with stakeholders.
The candidate must be AZ‑305 certified and demonstrate strong communication skills, working effectively with global customers and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient Azure cloud architectures.
* Define reference architectures, landing zones, and best practices aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
* Architect solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, and security domains.
* Ensure architectures meet performance, availability, security, and cost-optimization requirements.
* Define Azure governance models including management groups, subscriptions, RBAC, policies, and tagging standards.
* Design and implement Azure Landing Zones.
* Establish cost management, monitoring, and optimization strategies.
* Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and enterprise IT standards.
* Provide leadership and hands‑on guidance across core Azure services, including but not limited to:
* Azure Security (Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Sentinel – preferred)
* Lead cloud migration initiatives using Azure Migrate and other tools.
* Define re‑host, re‑platform, re‑factor, and cloud‑native modernization approaches.
* Support hybrid and multi‑cloud integration scenarios.
* Guide application teams in adopting PaaS and cloud‑native services.
* Act as the Azure subject matter expert (SME) and final escalation point.
* Mentor and lead Azure engineers and junior architects.
* Review solution designs, implementation plans, and deployment strategies.
* Engage in architecture reviews, technical workshops, and customer discussions.
* Work closely with business stakeholders, security teams, and application owners.
* Present architecture designs and technical solutions to senior leadership and customers.
* Translate business requirements into technical cloud solutions.
* Provide advisory and consulting support for cloud transformation initiatives.
* Produce architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical runbooks.
* Maintain standards, SOPs, and operational documentation.
* Promote automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
* 8–10 years of experience in Azure Cloud Architecture.
* Microsoft AZ‑305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions – Certified.
* Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise Azure solutions.
* Strong leadership and solution ownership experience.
Technical Skills
* Networking, identity, security, and governance
* Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform – preferred)
* Hybrid cloud and integration patterns
* Monitoring, performance, and cost optimization
Communication & Language Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* English proficiency equivalent to IELTS Band 7 or above (mandatory).
