We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Designer to work with our Client in support of the Sellafield SPRS Project based in Warrington
SC Security Clearance is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:-
The successful Candidate will be working within a team delivering design solutions for mechanical plant and equipment both within glove box environment and supporting auxiliary equipment external to glove box.
Delivery of outstanding work packages and support to manufacturing and testing queries/design changes including configuration management.
To produce, with input and guidance from the engineering design team, engineering design work packages (3D model, GA, assemble and detail drawing, or assessment of engineering) that satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality
Liaising with ADT stakeholders including other disciplines including CE&I, process, Ops, maintenance, Human factors, construction & subject matter experts were necessary in undertaking the designer role.
Provide support to Senior Engineer for manufacturing and testing queries, including liaison with manufacturers as needed.
