Job Description
* CNC programming 3- and 5-axis CNC mills.
* Develop new CNC programs for production runs or modify existing programs for different machines.
* Perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications.
* Manual adjustments if required and update to existing program.
* Work with the engineers for product modifications to reduce the amount of material or fabrication time.
* Computer-aided design programs NX software.
* Maintaining of program master list and revision.
Cnc Programmer Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop CNC programs for production runs.
* Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates.
* Modify existing programs for different machines.
* Maintain tooling database.
* Make manual program adjustments as necessary.
* Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process.
* Support RFQ quotation fabrication process.
Cnc Programmer Requirements and Qualifications
* Diploma, GCE ‘O’ ITE.
* Experience programming 3- and 5-axis CNC mills.
* Familiarity with Mastercam and NX software.
* Basic math skills
