This is a field-based role supporting designated sites across the Dorset and Hampshire. Your role as Field Service Engineer:
* Provide direct, on-site technical support across instrumentation, software, and IT-related systems within hospital or laboratory settings
* Conduct system installations, commissioning, and support through customer verification and go-live phases
* Deliver training to end-users on diagnostic platforms, ensuring consistent and compliant knowledge transfer
* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently, escalating complex problems when required
* Collaborate closely with commercial teams, offering technical input during customer meetings and tenders
* Maintain accurate service records, stock management oversight, and adherence to operational and compliance standards
Experience and qualifications for the Field Service Engineer role:
* Degree in a relevant biomedical science or life sciences discipline
* Previous experience in hospital or research laboratories strongly preferred
* Strong troubleshooting abilities with a detail-oriented and analytical approach
