Sales / Business Development
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + bonus
Location: Midland based (with travel)
A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Sales / Business Development professional to support continued growth within the automotive sector.
This role is suited to someone with a strong background in automotive sales who is comfortable developing new business while managing and growing existing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the automotive sector
*
Manage and grow existing OEM and Tier 1 / Tier 2 customer accounts
*
Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
*
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations
*
Work closely with internal engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met
*
Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance against targets
Key Requirements:
*
Proven sales or business development experience within the automotive industry
*
Experience dealing with OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 suppliers
*
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
*
Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex projects
*
Confident communicator with a proactive, self-driven approach
