We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Southern Water team based in Falmer, Brighton.
Location: Falmer, Brighton - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 40 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our collaborative team as a Quality Engineer and play a vital role in ensuring excellence across our framework projects. You'll be providing expert guidance, nurturing quality standards, and contributing to successful project outcomes in a supportive and dynamic environment.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quality Engineer, you'll be working within the Quality team, supporting them in delivering exceptional quality standards across multiple framework projects. Your day to day will include:
* Managing site visits to nurture quality practices throughout project lifecycles, from mobilisation to handover
* Building relationships with project teams and clients to ensure quality requirements are understood and embraced
* Reviewing quality documentation and ensuring inspection test plans are followed with appropriate supporting evidence
* Conducting inspections and sharing insights to develop continuous improvement across projects
* Championing the delivery of the Water Quality Strategy through collaborative engagement with teams
What are we looking for?
This role of Quality Engineer is great for you if:
* You have practical experience in quality control activities within construction
* You enjoy interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to ensure standards are met You're comfortable with digital tools and can maintain clear, thorough records
* You have excellent communication skills and enjoy sharing knowledge with others
* You hold a CSCS card and ideally have ISO 9001 training or professional quality qualifications
