About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Management Team and Clinical Directors within Medical Specialties, Endoscopy and Gastroenterology. This key role ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations, freeing the Management Team and directors to focus on clinical and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑level PA and secretarial support, including complex diary management, meeting coordination, and minute‑taking.
* Prepare correspondence, reports and presentations to a high standard.
* Act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.
* Maintain accurate records and manage confidential information in line with NHS policies.
* Support the organisation and delivery of departmental projects and events.
* Liaise with clinical and non‑clinical staff, patients and external partners as required.
Essential Criteria
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Discretion in handling sensitive information.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working within the NHS or a healthcare environment.
* Knowledge of NHS systems and procedures.
* Experience supporting senior managers or clinical leaders.
