Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office & Factory Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in office administration and exhibit excellent organisational skills. The position is currently on a fixed term basis of 6 months with the potential opportunity to extend. Hours of work Monday to Friday 9-3.
Duties
This role will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
* Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records
* Managing correspondence through phone calls and emails with professionalism and courtesy
* Assisting with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents
* Utilising Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Using in house printers to print letters and envelopes in bulk for customer orders
* Completing and recording stock takes of printed customer matter
* Supporting the finishing department with the fulfilment of orders
* Packing customer deliveries in the factory
* Organising customer deliveries via couriers and postal services, checking and recording completed deliveries.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience working in both an office and factory environment is essential
* Proficient computer skills, including functional use of the Microsoft Office Suite
* A working understanding of GDPR
* A proven ability to give attention to detail
* Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Experience of data manipulation and management would be an advantage
* Knowledge of print would be an advantage
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £12.21-£13.21 per hour
