We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England’s leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool, and of course, what we are famous for… golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry, with hosting The British Masters in August 2024 and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.
Marketing
The marketing team at The Belfry supports all areas of the Resort, creating a fast-paced and collaborative work environment. Winners of Marketing Team of the Year 2021 and nominated for The Cateys in 2023, they are passionate about representing the Belfry brand to all audiences.
The on-target earning potential for this role is £24,000 annually, comprising a base salary of £23,000 plus an estimated £1,000 in gratuities per annum.
About the Role
As Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the marketing team to ensure the smooth running of the department, promoting a positive perception of the brand across all areas. You will work with the Marketing Team to help deliver the marketing activity plan for each area including Spa, Golf, F&B, Weddings, B2B, and Leisure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the briefing, production, and printing of all collateral across the Resort, from posters and flyers to banners and signage.
Manage daily website updates to ensure all information and imagery are current.
Schedule press and media visits with relevant departments, ensuring all teams are aware of stays and VIP status.
Support photo shoots, social media content creation, and general filming and photography.
Build and test email deployments to the marketing database, ensuring content accuracy, links, and booking capabilities.
Create and schedule monthly digital content on screens and TVs throughout the Resort.
Ensure third-party sites are up to date with relevant content, imagery, and links.
Support other marketing activities as required and undertake additional duties as needed.
Attend internal and external meetings, representing marketing when appropriate.
About You
The Marketing Assistant role is varied and requires someone who is highly organized, creative, and eager to establish themselves in a fast-paced marketing environment. You will also be:
Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office
Familiar with content management systems, social media tools, and email deployment (preferred but not necessary)
Confident, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
Passionate about the hospitality industry and current trends
A marketing-related degree is preferred but not essential
