Specialist Technical Officer (Planning) / Enforcement Officer needed in Derby.
Contract
This is a full‑time role on a temporary contract basis.
Responsibilities
* Deal with planning applications including the critical appraisal and review of reports for the discharge of planning conditions.
* Inspect premises and enforce statutory provisions; ensure compliance with the authority’s statutory obligations, and provide guidance, information and training to aid compliance.
* Prepare, monitor and authorise legal and other documentation, and instigate legal proceedings to ensure compliance with the authority’s statutory obligations.
