Our client is a highly reputable business based in Central Southampton. Due to an increased workload and internal projects, they need support with the day to day transactional duties. They are based in a highly accessible part of the city either via public transport or commuting in.
Job Description
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
3. Processing, coding and matching invoices
4. Raising invoices
5. Supplier statement reconciliations
6. Handling petty cash
7. Bank reconciliations
8. Dealing with supplier queries
9. Preparing the payment runs
10. Other adhoc duties requested by the Finance Manager
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for the Accounts Assistant role, you must:
11. Have previously worked in a transactional finance role and be able to demonstrate this
12. Be immediately available or on short notice
13. Be able to work in a team
14. Be able to adapt and multi task
15. Be able to work within a fast paced environment
