As well as being a different kind of credit hire company, we’re a different kind of place to work. We support all of our people, not just with the training and fair wages you’d expect, but with enhanced holidays, mental health support, and a free day you can use to help out with the charities you care about. We know that the best way to help our customers is by helping our team first - so you can count on us to help you develop your career, look after your wellbeing, and welcome you to a real, collaborative team.
When we say Cogent Hire is a different kind of credit hire company, that extends far beyond the way we treat our customers, partners and repairers. It’s something that starts right here in our offices.
Because beside you, with you, for you applies to our people first. When you join our team, here’s what you can expect:
We work beside you, providing the kind of support every employer should. On-the-job training to help you develop your career and life skills, supported by fair, transparent wages and enhanced holidays.
We work with you, safeguarding your mental health and wellbeing with our resilience and stress workshops, one-to-ones and safe space, and our specially trained mental health first aiders. We know it can be tough being the person picking up the phone after an accident, with distressed or upset customers - so we’re with you every step of the way.
And when it comes to things you care about, we’re ready to help. Every member of our team can take a free day to help out with a charity you really care about, along with the work we do supporting charities across our community.
When someone new joins the Cogent Hire team, we’re proud you chose to work with us. And that means we’ll always support you and reward you, because it’s your hard work that helps us to grow.
