Medicines Safety & Governance Technician (Internal Only) The closing date is 05 July 2026.
Job Summary Support the Medication Safety Officer and Pharmacy leadership to improve medicines safety and governance across the Trust. Lead and collaborate on audits, quality improvement initiatives and safety projects, ensuring compliance with medicines management policies and relevant standards.
Responsibilities
Analyse medication‑related data and investigate incidents, including controlled drugs.
Contribute to root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce risk and enhance patient safety.
Support operational core pharmacy services.
Participate in 7‑day working, including late duties, bank holidays and weekend working.
Person Specification
Registered or pharmacy technician with significant experience in hospital pharmacy.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently as part of a team.
Working Pattern 27 hours per week.
