We are currently looking to recruit to our existing NNU team, and this is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and ambitious neonatal nurse to become an active part in our strong and experienced multi – disciplinary team. This is a key role to help us develop our services for the future and we are looking for individuals who are keen to work as part of our Senior Nursing Team to expand and develop the Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care. The Opportunity There are new and exciting things happening within the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, we have moved from four Divisions to seven Care Groups in order to align our services to provide better pathways for our patients, this move has given more opportunity for an increase in senior leaders in the organisation to lead on delivering excellent care. This is a key role to help us develop our services for the future and we are looking for individuals who are keen to work as part of our Senior Nursing Team to expand and develop the Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care. We currently have 20 cots and are a level 2 Local NNU - 3 intensive care, 4 high dependency and 13 special care cots. We are an active participant in the South West Neonatal Network. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Nursing, General Manager, and Clinical Directors for the Women, Children and HIV Care Group.
