Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Cumbria, Cockermouth (hybrid - 3 days in office) Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time Working Week: Monday - Friday (40 hour week) Salary: Competitive Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial delivery across nuclear contracts. You will support Contract Managers, manage risks, ensure profitability, and provide insight to Nuclear Directors for current and future projects. - Ensure contracts are fully compliant and monitor performance using systems like CEMAR. - Prepare commercial reports and accurate cost estimates, particularly for passive fire protection projects. - Manage budgets, track costs, identify savings, and maintain detailed financial records. - Prepare and review tenders, procurement schedules, valuations, progress reports, and final accounts. - Support resolution of claims, disputes, and contractual issues. - Lead and mentor Quantity Surveyors and Graduates, overseeing multiple projects. - Contribute to wider commercial strategy to drive growth and profitability.
