The Company
This is a well-established, PE-backed financial SaaS business that has quietly built one of the most trusted platforms in its space. With 12,000 customer practices relying on the product, it has a strong and loyal installed base, a world-class NPS score, and a brand that is recognised across its target market.
The business is growing at around 25% year-on-year and the PE investor is backing an ambitious growth agenda with real investment behind it. A second product, recently acquired and in its own scale-up phase, adds a significant cross-sell opportunity and further broadens the growth story.
Historically, growth has been driven largely by word-of-mouth and brand reputation. The marketing function is now being properly built out for the first time, with a Head of Marketing in place and a clear structure being created around three specialist leads: Growth, Content, and Field Marketing. This hire is the first in that build.
The Role
As Growth Lead, you will own the full demand generation engine for the business. This is a hands-on, high-impact position working directly alongside the Head of Marketing, with infrastructure already being put in place and an agency currently supporting across paid channels.
The priority in year one is to establish the foundations, prove what works, and drive MQL volume upwards. Once that engine is running and results are visible, the plan is to invest further in the team, with headcount beneath the leads expected within the first 12 months.
What You Will Be Doing
* Owning and driving MQL growth through the right channels, with a focus on get-quote and free-trial conversion
* Building and running ABM campaigns, working within the HubSpot and ZoomInfo stack, and recommending additional tools where appropriate
* Leading CRO activity across the website and HubSpot landing pages
* Managing and optimising SEO strategy
* Overseeing paid ads across Google, LinkedIn, and Meta, working with the existing agency and taking ownership of paid budget
* Driving competitor switching campaigns, with a focus on taking market share from the main incumbents
* Bringing a growth mindset to the wider marketing team and helping embed growth thinking across all channels
* Tracking and reporting on the metrics that matter, with a clear lens on what is generating incremental pipeline
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a hands-on growth marketer who has operated in a B2B SaaS environment and understands what it takes to scale demand generation in a business targeting SMBs. The role suits someone who has been part of a growth journey, knows how to build and optimise across multiple channels simultaneously, and is ready to take the lead.
Strong operators at Senior or Lead level, as well as people who have been second-in-command in a growth function and are ready to step up, are all worth hearing from. The key is that you have done the work, not just directed others.
You Will Likely Have
* Solid B2B SaaS growth marketing experience, ideally targeting SMB or mid-market customers
* Proven capability across paid, SEO, CRO, ABM, and email or lifecycle marketing
* Hands-on experience with HubSpot, and comfort recommending and adopting ABM tooling
* A track record of growing MQL volume and a clear understanding of what drives incremental pipeline
* Experience managing agencies and holding external partners to a high standard
* The ability to work at pace in a PE-backed, commercially-driven environment
* A genuine builder's mindset — you want to create something, not just optimise what already exists
