What you'll be doing:
As a Project Technical Manager, you will own site reporting, customer satisfaction, and rigorous compliance with Knauf systems and products. As Knauf’s on-site ambassador throughout the construction phase, you’ll engage key stakeholders, deliver critical data and feedback, and keep communication seamless between customers and internal teams. Your work will strengthen partnerships and uphold Knauf’s technical leadership by providing best-in-class technical support.
Responsibilities include:
* Serve as the customer-facing technical lead, coordinating across teams to deliver high-quality support on all Knauf projects.
* Create, amend, and manage system/product specifications; track on-site compliance and report insights to optimise visits.
* Monitor specification-converted projects to ensure compliance and foster repeat business aligned with Knauf values.
* Collaborate with Pre-Construction Project Specification Managers and technical peers to identify, prioritize, and convert repeat opportunities; provide coverage for Pre-Construction and other Technical functions as needed.
* Support architects, main contractors, sub-contractors, and designers in resolving design challenges, delivering compliant performance solutions while minimizing company risk; address fire, acoustic, and thermal requirements.
* Clearly communicate the benefits of Knauf system solutions across the value chain through design consultancy; assist marketing with product launches.
* Contribute to internal initiatives (policy updates, induction, Staff Council, Health & Safety) and provide customer-focused input to innovation.
* Comply with reporting requirements in OneCRM/Salesforce across Health & Safety, Quality, Environment, and Corporate Responsibility.

What we'd love for you to have:
* Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles within construction markets, delivering technical solutions.
* Strong understanding of key construction stakeholders, including Architects, Main Contractors, and Sub-Contractors.
* In-depth knowledge of Fire, Acoustic, Thermal, and Structural principles.
* Comprehensive understanding of construction routes to market and building methods.
* Proficient in resolving site issues through the interpretation of drawings and plans.
* Flexibility to travel throughout the patch; Central London, South London, M25 and surrounding counties.
